'La Maison au Ruisseau' and the smaller 'La Grange' are part of a collection of three farm houses arranged around a central courtyard, beautifully converted complete with a large swimming pool and tennis court, in to charming homes to rent.
These comfortable homes located in a small farming village are the perfect antidote to busy and stressful lives, and all just a quick 50 minute drive from Calais.
Why Northern France?
Don't rush through!! This area known as Nord Pas de Calais is often overlooked in the general dash to the South. But we have more than 35 miles of wide open sandy beaches surrounded by gentle countryside, huge skies, medieval towns and villages, restaurants and markets, and of course always 'la Bonne Vie', there is enough to keep the most ardent Francophile amused for many happy days.
The houses are located in the rural working village of Sempy where life continues much as it always has, surrounded by rolling farmland and a lot of cows! The village is quiet and gentle, people are welcoming and politely curious!
There are walks and gentle strolls or one can simply relax by the pool with a glass of rosé in hand.
Life need be no more stressful than this!
